1st Annual Project Peace Prince George’s County
On Sunday, August 16, 2015 we at Boys 2 Bowties hosted the 1st Annual Project Peace Prince George’s County at the Broadwater Mansion, 4205 Crain Highway, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. This day had full participation from various Prince George’s County leadership, clergymen, influential community members and most of all the growing youth of Prince George’s County. More importantly, it gave the youth a chance to be among like minds that can develop their confidence on the dreams for their futures.
Project Peace is a day for the community, by the community. We had so much fun. There was moon bounces, a pool, face-paint, basketball, snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, food, over 40 FREE haircuts and over 100 book bags given away full of school supplies. The day was completely funded by sponsors from the area. We thank you sponsors!
